This week's recipe was chosen by Dolores of Chronicles in Culinary Curiosity. I didn't own an ice cream maker, so I bought a small electric one- the kind that has the gel canister you have to freeze. I had to freeze it for 10 hours!!! I thought the ice cream was delightful. The texture wasn't really creamy, but I loved the flavor. I love sour cream, though- Since we only needed 3/4 cup, I ate the rest of my 8 oz container with a spoon :-)
Man I thought I was going to be first....next time perhaps! That ice cream looks really really delicious. YUMMMMMMMM!!! Good job. You'll have to tell me what you thought about your ice cream maker.
That's hilarious that you ate the rest of the sour cream! An ice cream machine is a great investment... you'll probably make a ton of ice cream now that you have one!
u ate sour cream out of the tub?! oh my.. that's cool. haha. Great job with the icecream though. I had loads of fun with mine too. sans the photos of course.
Wow -- that looks amazing! I guess blueberry and sour cream is the new chocolate and peanut butter. It makes me want to go out and buy an ice cream machine!
