This weeks recipe was Rugelach, which I had to Wikipedia since I didn't know what Rugelach is :-) Now, I realize that one my favorite bakeries,
Edgars, has these all the time for sale.
I almost didn't make this recipe, but my friends Cathy and Julie talked me into it and I am so glad!! I used strawberry jam, chocolate and pecans- no currants. I liked this recipe, but I made it very last minute and didn't feel like I got to fully enjoy the process. Well, that plus the fact that this election is very stressful :-) I don't think I rolled them tightly enough. My husband loved them! Thanks, Piggy of Piggy's Cooking Journal for the great pick!!

I also had no clue what rugelach was! Yours look yummy!
Your look wonderful, even if they were rushed. Just one more reason to make them again, right? :)
I had to google it.
Yours look wonderful.
Amanda they were amazing. Thank you for sharing yours. I can't wait to make them and only hope mine turn out as well as yours did!
Even though you did the rugelach in a rush, but yours still look great though. :-)
Thanks for baking with me this week!
Oh, now what is a better stress buster than rolling up some little pastries?? I'm so glad you made these, Amanda, and that you enjoyed them! And thank you for saving one for me -- it was my breakfast this morning! I love that you Wikipediad this (and I didn't know that "Wikipedia" was now a verb -- see, I need friends like you to keep me young).
Im glad you made them and your husband liked them. I thought they were great!
Good job!! I'm a fellow TWD baker, and I was thinking that it would be nice if we all could chip in and get Laurie some small token/gift for all the work she does. Would you be willing to contribute? If I can get enough people, it would only be about $1 per person. No pressure :-) Let me know! bethberg12@yahoo.com
They are good, aren't they?
Because, see, back in the olden days, we would "look up rugelach in the dictionary."
your filling sounds delicious! glad you enjoyed them :)
Glad you made them! They look great!! :)
I see a Dorie Rewind in my future. Your flavor combo sounds yummy.
Your rugelach looks great despite you rushing with it! :)
I'm glad you tried them. I loved them and can't wait to try them again. There are so many possibilities!
Glad you liked them. I find them positively habit-forming!
I left you an award - stop by and pick it up when you can!
